As a health professional monitoring program, Thrivewell takes a collaborative approach to ensure you can balance your health and clinical responsibilities. What is unique about Thrivewell is the clinician, Misty.
Misty is dually licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor. She has advanced training and is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Learn more here.

After identifying a health condition, whether through self-report or referral from employment or licensing boards, Misty can begin to create a program that will meet your personalized needs by completing a collaborative evaluation of the impact your condition has on you personally and professionally. Misty will provide a systemic approach to treatment that will prioritize your needs.

Should you choose to enter a monitoring agreement, Misty will support your commitment to recovery through meeting program requirements and, when necessary, provide reports documenting your progress toward providing safe patient care. Throughout your participation with Thrivewell, Misty will provide you with support and guidance to help you manage your condition and minimize its impacts on your practice. Types of monitoring may include the following.

Health monitoring via periodic collaboration with providers.

Practice monitoring includes a self-selected colleague who is aware of your circumstances reporting to Thrivewell regarding progress in your clinical practice.

Biological monitoring via a third-party laboratory through random biological analysis to ensure you remain fit to practice.

Support group monitoring of attendance at self – help/support groups just as AA, IDAA, Caduceus, Smart Recovery, therapist facilitated groups, etc.
Thrivewell has active memorandums of understanding to provide assessments, treatment, and/or referrals for health professionals with the following boards:
